Experience Earth Day
Take a Lesson from These Kindergarteners
For more than 40 years Earth Day (April 22) has inspired and mobilized people from all walks of life to take action on behalf of our precious planet.
What better way to celebrate Earth Day than to get out on the land and experience the wonders of the natural world?
That’s exactly the lesson John José of Otter Creek Environmental Education Services recently shared with Kindergarten students at Stourbridge Primary Center in Honesdale, PA. José led an introductory lesson on wildlife tracking on a forested area of the school property. He also made age-appropriate field guides for the students to use on their tracking day and to share with their families.

And get out on the land this Earth Day – or any day!
